Round 9 Superstock 1000 at Oulton Park was a better weekend after a disappointing Cadwell Park.

This weekend we decided to make a big change with the set-up of the bike to see if we could find some more time over the weekend. Unfortunately, fp1 was wet, fp2 was pretty much dry and then qualifying was damp but drying quickly. It was difficult to know if the changes were good due to track conditions, but we felt confident that we were moving in the right direction.

Starting 34th on the grid, I made a reasonable start and was getting used to the changes with the bike. The lap times were slowly dropping, and I set a new pb and finished 30th.

Race 2 and more changes to the bike but feeling good that we were moving in the right direction. Again, setting a new pb, finally finishing 25th.

A bit of a break now before our next round at Donington but looking forward to getting back out on the bike and keep moving forward.
