Round 2 was definitely an improvement from round 1. We managed to qualify 38th, with a lot of work to do. But qualifying was the main target after such a disappointment at Donington. Especially at Brands where the lap time is so tight.
Race 1 we came home 29th, after a long tough race. The longest race distance we’ve ever done but managed consistent lap times throughout. Made a few changes for Race 2 hoping to improve the lap time, but unfortunately not able to improve on our PB and finished 31st.
All in all, a positive but frustrating weekend. Really glad to get 2 races under our belt and learn a bit more about the bike. But frustrating not being able to get down to the lap times from last year. Its definitely a steep learning curve at BSB but we have come a long way in just 3 years racing. We know there is more and we will keep pushing to improve.
